Just a heads up that Frank Thompson has decided not to renew his website for THE COMMENTARY TRACK, his excellent podcast where he interviewed and preserved the voices of a lot of Film Historian, some of them no longer with us, a decade or so ago. if you still want to hear them or down load them, you have a couple of more weeks to do so:

Sadly, Frank was not able to continue doing them after he moved to the other coast, but these podcasts are indeed important in preserving the voice of many important historians, and they are very entertaining indeed.

The good news is that the Niles Museum is putting all episodes of "The Commentary Track" and "Radio Movies" on their website. I have no idea when the episodes will be available - this thing has been in the works for a long time - but they'll be there eventually.
