I felt like I was there on the set, day after day, experiencing the effort that goes into making a great film - and making it funny. This book is a dazzling time capsule covering the world of comedy some 60-plus years ago. I couldn’t put it down and neither will you. Great book!

About fifteen minutes after finishing the podcast, I ordered the book! Great stuff. I'd recently finished Mr. Curtis' bio of Spencer Tracy, so I knew I was in for some good reading.

William, I'd also recommend Jim Curtis's biographies of Keaton, Fields, James Whale and Preston Sturges, they are all fabulous.
