I am curious if anyone knows details about the Lucky Strike comedy entitled PIE ALLEY
I just watched it and I was amazed at how bad it actually was. Not that I hold Weiss non star driven comedies in high regard anyway, but I cannot find info on this title..It stars a little kid that looks similar to Big Boy who is trying to skate, and then becomes an entire reel of pie throwing...

Bad pie throwing too if I recall. These were some of the output of Robert Tansey, the worst of the Weiss Brothers Producers. Super cheap even by Weiss standards, and pretty devoid of humor. Remember in my commentaries on WEISS-O-RAMA, I said I was saving the viewers from a lot of the chaff. There's a good pile of it.

Yep terrible pie throwing.....basically dripping paper plate throwing...At one point the gag is they put a pie on the ground and make the baby sit on it and cry..It was awkward........
