In 1916, Leon Errol made two films for George Kleine , IN AT THE FINISH, and this one, NEARLY SPLICED. For some reason they were not released until 1921 (by Reelcraft?). Possibly his day job in the Follies had something to do with it.

Here is NEARLY SPLICED with Leon Errol supported by Arthur Housman and the same folks who were support in the Musty Suffer whirls: Della Connor, Rosa Gore, H.H. McCollum, Maxfield Moree and Dan Crimmins.

When I viewed these at LOC in 2006, they weren't even listed in IMDB. Apologies to RMR, one of these played at Slapsticon, but I can't remember which one.
