Here's a great Bobby Ray clip I thought you'd like to see.
I think it may be the Rayart 1926 production called 'The Channel Swim'.

Yep, it's THE CHANNEL SWIM (1926), that's Will Hayes playing the rival swimmer.

Both Will and his brother Ward Hayes looked a lot like Charley Chase.
