NFPF/EYE Institute Amsterdam Film Repatriation

Their "Sherlock Holmes of Celluloid" needed a Dr. Watson apparently. The first film mentioned, the "long-missing" MICKEYS CIRCUS (1927) with Mickey McGuire, has never been missing. I have a beautiful print of it, and I know of others.

So does this mean we'll have more too-slow transferred comedy up on the NFPF website?

The latest news is that some long sought-after British silent feature has now been found deep inside the bowels of the EYE Institute.

Is it just me or whenever some film discovery makes the news lately, it seems to be coming out of Amsterdam.

Maybe they need to incorporate the Dewey Decimal System so they can see what they actually have?
