Jack Carson did this 1955 unaired TV pilot for a proposed series in which he plays a late-night radio DJ, it also features Jocelyn Brando, H. M. Wynant, and Joseph Kearns:

Poor Jack Carson has to reel off a mind-numbing list of statistics about disc jockeys at the end. Being the trouper that he is, he gamely plows through it, doubtless making some faceless, gray-suited copywriter very proud of himself.
That being said, I thought this would have made a very nice series if it had been picked up. Joseph Kearns is a hoot! "Stop talking about ghosts!"
