Pretty good copy of Larry Semon's next-to-last short comedy, unfortunately with Italian subtitles, but ir makes okay sense:

Re: DUMMIES (1928) Larry Semon
I watched this over the weekend. I haven't seen most of Semon's late silent shorts so DUMMIES was a first time for me and yet, afterwards I felt like I had seen it before.
Many times before....
Larry never did bother to purchase a new jokebook of sight gags in his career, did he?

Re: DUMMIES (1928) Larry Semon
Larry took the advice of a mid-1920s fan magazine a little too literally when it was suggested that Semon should slow down the tempo, and observe how Harry Langdon plays a scene to milk his gag sequences. Larry didn't lessen his pace much but you can see his attempts to imitate Langdon in his final 1927-28 two-reelers.
