Do you know who wrote this in Mabel Normand's autograph book? I do!
If you post your reply I'll post the answer next Sunday
"Dear Mabel Normand
Back in 1916 I had a dream about you and I sent you a check for two dollars, did you ever cash it?
Mabel, no one in the world thinks more of you than I do.
I would rather have your friendship
than the adoration of the entire world.
Your friend"

Mabel Normand was a Vitagraph “Old Timers.” I was looking around Mabel Normand partying with her friends and found something that Greta de Groat sent us back in 2010, there is also some great information for us from William Drew. http://looking-for-mabel.webs.com/1927apr9satevepost.htm
