One of those 1929 Al Christie-Paramount talking comedies made after he had fired all his silent comedians and was making comedies with practically anyone. Charley Grapewin and his wife Anna Chance actually do liven things up a bit, Alf Goulding directs from a script Grapewin wrote himself, but the general premise is the same as Charley Chase's MANY SCRAPPY RETURNS with less comic possibilities. Still, for one of these Christie talkies, it doesn't move at a snail's pace:
