GOLF SLAPPY (1942) w/ Eddie Gribbon

An interesting curio from 1942. This independent slapstick one-reeler was produced, written and directed by Charles Dorety. The three leads are so out-of-shape it almost looks like a sound-era Three Fatties short. And it may be one of Sam Lufkin's rare on-screen credits. With all of that, it is actually pretty good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwdhFlnuLwY
