ART IN THE RAW (1933) Edgar Kennedy, Franklyn Pangborn

Postby Ed Watz » Thu Apr 30, 2020 12:10 pm

One of the best in RKO's "Average Man" series; for once Edgar's family isn't *too* annoying and there's even a happy ending of sorts for Mr. Kennedy. Franklyn Pangborn is a standout as a Greenwich Village artist, watch him run circles around Florence's double-talk.

With Edgar Kennedy, Florence Lake, Dot Farley, William Eugene, Franklyn Pangborn, and musical comedy performer Mona Ray, in one of her rare screen appearances. Story & direction by the long-unsung (though not by The Mafiosi) Harry Sweet.
