Laurel & Hardy in "Morton's Plumbing Shop"

Postby Chris Seguin » Fri Feb 01, 2019 4:58 pm

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_9ZVwUTheo This really is one of the holiest of Laurel & Hardy holy grails. Unheard – and unknown – for almost 75 years until it was unearthed last year by John Tefteller, this clip is from a rarest of rare rehearsal performance of “Morton’s Plumbing Shop”, a pilot episode for a proposed Laurel & Hardy radio series. The entire 20 minute episode – a complete Laurel & Hardy misadventure I can guarantee you’ve never experienced before – can be heard on the compact disc accompanying this remarkable book. http://www.laurelandhardylive.com/

Amazing but great that material is still being unearthed - maybe one day someone will find a copy of 'Hats Off'! Ok, I know that would seem unlikely... Anyway, this is a really great book and disc, highly recommended. All credit to John Tefteller and team for making this available.
