Triangle Films website

The Cinematheque Francaise has recently launched La Triangle Archives (1915 - 1919), a website devoted to the Triangle Film Corp that has digitised archival documents, and better yet film clips. Here's a link to the page for the clips:

There's four minutes from the 1915 DON QUIXOTE directed by Eddie Dillon, which gives a very good look at DeWolfe Hopper and Max Davidson (as Sancho Panza). Other clips include OH MABEL BEHAVE, and a number of Doug Fairbanks comedies.

It's interesting to see George Ovey in OH MABEL BEHAVE. I don;t know that I've ever seen him in a Sennett production Before.

Finally had a chance to look at this clip. The girl appears to be Helen "Ollie" Carlyle. George Ovey was in a few Keystones made around this time (Spring 1915), including THE CANNONBALL and FATTY'S RECKLESS FLING. Looks to be shot at Busch Gardens in Pasadena.
