Can we try to get one or both of the last two of the rarely-seen Columbia Charley Chase shorts? -
FROM BAD TO WORSE (1937)
THE CHUMP TAKES A BUMP (1939)

Whattye mean "we" Finegan? You can "try" to do whatever the hell you like. As to the Chase Columbias mentioned, Slapsticon might run one of these, they might not, there's a lot more titles to be announced when we're ready to announce them.

Sounds like a great lineup so far, Richard. Any chance of Lehrman's FOR LADIES ONLY (1927) making the cut this year?

Nope.

Folks, if you want to make requests, make them to me privately. We do try to honor them, but I'm not going to spend time talking on group about what we're NOT going to show at Slapsticon this year.

I just checked the Slapsticon site and saw that Rosslyn Key Bridge is only offering discounted rates Thursday through Sunday night. If I recall, that was initially the case last year as well until one of you guys "leaned" on them and got them to extend the offer to Wednesday night. Any chance of that happening this year?

Well, lets just say stay tuned for some big Slapsticon 2011 announcements and changes coming very soon: like the fact that our official Slapsticon 2011 Hotel is now the Marriott Key Bridge that will be extending us a $109 rate for much of that whole week if not the whole week.

Lots more titles and other goodies coming to the Slapsticon website within the next week or so.
