Most of the ads were just a listing for the new Keystone film or such and such theater was showing it this week.

I always seem to lose a few pounds during Slapsticon, it's the hardest week I work all year.

And in this weight-crazed and frequently humorless nation, I think this might scare some serious skinnies off.

Better yet, since we're showing Abbott and Costello rarities this year, lets take the line from their song:

"Laugh, Laugh, Laugh, There's lots to be thankful for."
