Manchester Mirthquake?

Postby Dave Eickemeyer » Thu May 27, 2010 5:03 pm

I'm thinking of going to Mirthquake in Manchester, NH this August & I'm wondering if someone who has been there before could give me a review of what to expect. Do they usually end up with any must-see rarities? On a quality and quantity basis how does it compare to Slapsticon & other festivals?

Their web site seems to be non-existent, so I'm a little concerned about lack of any information.

That's a bit of a loaded question on this forum because the moderators (godfathers) all are associated with the Slapsticon. But if you do a google search of both festivals you'll get an idea of the merits and scale of each. Slapsticon secures prints from major archives and studios (and private collectors) so it's fair to say that each year we have presented must-see rarities. This year will be no exception.
