Wow! Thank you so much Richard for the update, and thanks to you and everyone involved.
I'm super excited about this release (and it's coming out several days after my birthday; I've pre-ordered it as a present for myself).
This made my day!

Thank you Richard, The CineMuseum Team, Andrew and Kit!
Together with Dave Glass’ excellent Monty Banks set, Charley Chase At Hal Roach: The Late Silents (1927) brings forward rare comedy gems I never dreamt I’d eventually be seeing.
I’ve already pre-ordered my copy, plus you’ve made my Christmas gift giving list easy-schmeazy this year. Again, thank you so much!

Re: Coming in November.........
Amazing news! I'm so excited to see these films.
Thank you so much Richard, and everyone else involved, for making this happen.
I'm sure that this is an instant purchase for anyone else reading this, but for anyone on the fence: Richard very kindly let us show the complete THE WAY OF ALL PANTS at last year's Silent Laughter Weekend, and many people said it was the highlight of the whole two days. A couple of people even said they thought it was the funniest Chase film they'd ever seen. You won't be disappointed!
These really are great days to be a silent comedy fan.

Thank you for your powerful testimony Matthew, it certainly whets one’s appetite for this classic Charley Chase short!
Years back I spent a small fortune to win an original print (from Australia) of THE FURTHER PERILS OF LAUREL & HARDY, solely to get ahold of the nine minutes' worth of footage from THE WAY OF ALL PANTS. As much as I loved this abridgment, it was frustrating to think that the rest of this classic had decomposed. So a big thank you in advance Richard, I know this is going to be a real treat - in addition to all the other rare Charley Chase gems on this set!
Incidentally, here’s a few late twenties theater reports from Exhibitors Herald World on THE WAY OF ALL PANTS:
“No matter what it’s like, it sure brought down the house!”
“Personally thought too much display of where pants should be, but it got more laughs than usual”
And the best endorsement goes to:
“An underwear comedy which the rough necks hugely enjoy”
That’s good enough for me!

I think we'll use that one in our publicity, put it on the poster.

Re: Coming in November.........
I find it hilarious that folk are whining that Serge Bromberg didn't put NOW I'LL TELL ONE on the LAUREL AND HARDY YEAR TWO as an extra.
Well, do you think you are all able to wait less than a couple of weeks after that set comes out? It's on our set. Remember, it's a 1927 Charley Chase silent to begin with.

Re: CHARLEY CHASE AT HAL ROACH: THE LATE SILENTS 1927 Coming in November.........
I thought "Now I'll Tell One" was a Chase film in which L&H show up as guests?
I was actually surprised to find "Call of the Cookoo" on the 1927 L&H set ....because it is really a Max Davidson film(but I never regret getting some extra Max Davidson in any set -he is hysterical) with L&H and Chase as "guests".
Glad that "Now I'll Tell One" will be on the Chase set.
A purchase about which I am quite excited!
