PLAY SAFE (1927) filming locations: Carriso Gorge Railway

In honor of Dave Glass's upcoming Blu-Ray release of Monty Banks 1927 comedy PLAY SAFE , here's a look at the current state of the abandoned Carriso Gorge railway where much of the films climactic scene was filmed:

ODDITY ODDYSEY is a fun show done by a couple crazy enough to go to all these interesting abandoned spaces in America so we don't have to.

Terrific episode, thank you for posting this, Richard. Incredible how so much of that railway line looks to be untouched since Monty rode those tracks over 95 years ago. Those abandoned (and relatively modern) passenger cars seemed eerily out of place, I would've expected seeing a rusted locomotive or antique caboose in their place.
