Re: COMIQUE magazine issue number two
A finer Sunday morning read I have not had in a long time. An extremely high quality production with great writing. Ed's Rohauer article was absolutely fascinating. I have a couple of Rohauer stories I may relate later.
After reading Comique I settled down for a repast and decided to watch some Lloyd shorts on THE FRESHMAN bluray. I accidentally dialed up HAROLD LLOYD'S FUNNY SIDE OF LIFE and decided to watch elderly Harold's intro. Harold was describing all of the occupations his everyman glasses character could portray augmented with stills from Harold's films. When Harold mentioned the law profession, Lloyd displayed a photo of Rohauer! I wonder if Rohauer tried to get control of Harold's films through Paramount?
