Slow as molasses (who at the Library of Congress still believes this comedy-killing 18 fps is the correct speed to transfer this? David Shepard is dead, so should this nonsense go.), but at least here's a look at a rare Jimmy Aubrey/Oliver Hardy Vitagraph:

That's funny, because when that buck gets passed, the people I've spoken to at the NFPF say it's LOC that makes the speed decisions......

And while we're at it, this year, most of the digital restorations shown at Cinecon appeared to be right on the money speed-wise.....excepting WILD HORSE STAMPEDE (1925), a Universal western with Jack Hoxie, a 1925 oater definitely meant to be run at 24 fps, and it's bouncing herky-jerkily along somewhere around 20-21, with all the uneven repeated frame nonsense making it a chore to watch. And where did that come from: LOC.
