Interact with your favorite SCM authors, producers, directors, historians, archivists and silent comedy savants. Or just read along. Whatever.

So that Silencebound guy thinks he has found some German comedy clips because they came from Germany.......well, the one marked 1/5:

is OLD TIN SIDES (released March 7, 1927) with the Three Fatties, the one marked 2/5:

is another Three Fatties comedy, not sure which one, and the one marked 5/5:

is another American Comedy, probably a Universal Century, with Joe Bonner, Hilliard Karr, and Will T. Hayes, the girl may or may not be Wanda Wiley, hard to tell in the long shots posted.

The Germans make slapstick comedies................well, okay, the Germans make GOOD slapstick comedies? Max Schreck in NOSFERATU looking like Larry Semon is as close as it gets kids.
