C Chase or not C Chase

Postby DaveGlass » Thu Dec 11, 2014 1:33 pm

Hi guys... Many moons ago I posted a still from this one.
Here's a moving image to help continue the debate.
The clip is from BEFORE BREAKFAST (released 18th May 1919 - filmed Oct 11-19 & Dec 23, 1918).

Waddya think?
Looks more like Charles than Paul to me.
Richard's Roach book also shows Chase working as a day player in PISTOLS FOR BREAKFAST, filmed Nov 4-9, 1918.

Definitely Charley, too tall to be James.

Thanks chaps.
Some may think it's a Paul but I'm with you guys on the Charley side of the fence...
