David -thanks for posting. It's always great to see George Ovey. Whoever put it up got the date bunged up a bit as the Folly's were a little later. HOLDING HIS OWN is listed in the Motion Picture News in 1922.

David, Thanks for sharing this. It is great to see another George Ovey title. Yes, and Steve, if the people who post on YouTube do not do their homework, they often get the dates wrong. I noticed that the director of this title was Milton Fahrney. There is a "Milt Farney" listed in the cast of SALUTE , a 1925 Blue Ribbon Joe Rock comedy. I wonder if this is the same individual ?

Yep, it's the same guy. Fahrney moved to acting over directing in the early 20's.

Only Steve Massa could get away with saying "It is great to see another George Ovey title." In the same way that I could say, "It's great to see another Jack Benny TV program that was new to me..."
I would wager that there are only 20 people on this planet that could distinguish between George Ovey and George Orwell.
And I'm sure that all 20 are on this site.....

ONLY Steve Massa? Hell, I have five George Oveys in my own private collection.

This is the first George Ovey comedy I've ever seen and enjoyed it very much. If his other comedies are as good and funny as this one, count me in.

I love how quickly the table fills up when he rings the dinner bell.
