Is that a Big Joe Roberts clone?

How do we know this is Glen Lambert?

And if it is, this is most likely one of the short-lived "Bathing Girl" Comedies that the Bray Co produced in 1928 that he worked on mostly behind the camera.

The chunk originates from two Laff-a-bit clips - The Knee Inspector & Eating at the Beach.
I'm basing it on being Glen Lambert purely 'cos that's what it said on the VHS tape box!
Not 100% accurate I know (re. Bud Duncan in Stuck Up) but that's the only discrepancy I've ever noticed.
(and hey, they've never called Paul Parrott "Charlie Chase" either!)

p.s.
I also assumed both clips are from the one film and guessed from the action they went in the order they did.
The dress code is the same. The only thing I wasn't sure about is why Mr Ward is so "unattached" from Mr Lambert, after giving him a beating at the end of part 1.
Possible that they're from two separate Bray films?

Many years ago -- around 1973 -- a TV executive at WPIX in New York was trying to launch a series of silent comedy shorts and he screened a beach comedy that starred Glen Lambert for a test audience. Sorry I don't recall the title but I remember the credits listed Lambert as the star. Previous to this I'd only thought of Lambert as being a comedy writer.

The title on this film is THE BATHING BEACH BOOB, it is indeed a Bray Co Comedy from 1928.

Frequently one finds things one is not looking for at the time when one is researching something else.
