Even though this is a fine, fast paced short, Snub seems to lose his comic identity without the mustache.

Indeed, and they found that out after experimenting with a handful of these at Roach, his face just disappears, maybe that's why he was such a successful extra all those years later on.

The only time I recognized him was the medium close-up when Snub pokes his head out of the top of the car to try on hats. Then I could see his arched brows and droopy eyes.
