Another Hal Roach Studios Query

I was perusing the SHOWBIZ IMAGERY AND FORGOTTEN HISTORY blog and I saw some frame grabs from a Canadian TV sci-fi made for TV movie entitled STARSHIP INVASIONS from 1977. The title card says this film was produced by "Hal Roach Studios International LTD." Did this entity have any actual connection with Hal Roach Studios that ceased production in the very early 1960's?

Nope. Somebody else owned the name at the time, Mr. Roach was not involved.
