Orson Bean R.I.P.

No one lives forever -- except, perhaps, Shirley MacLaine. This is where we ring down the final curtain for Filmdom's finest.

Damn. He was working right up to the end. This idiotic obit claims he was best known as a panelist on “To Tell the Truth”. A more fitting tribute is his performance in Maxwell Anderson’s “The Star Wagon”: https://youtu.be/EuYYXpRj_1E

Good God, one makes it to 92 in good health and with all ones faculties just to get hit by a car! Somebody is trying to get rid of the last of our funny people, it's a conspiracy!

I don't see anything wrong with Orson Bean being remembered as the great Game Show panelist or Talk Show conversationalist, his gregarious wit made him a mainstay on those type of shows and he was always a welcome presence, He could have been remembered for DR. QUINN MEDICINE WOMAN. He was also one of the founders of The Sons of the Desert.

And he was the other celebrity named Orson, though irony of irony, neither one's real first names was Orson.
