MEET THE O'BRIENS Dave O'Brien

Postby Joe Moore » Sat May 18, 2013 3:27 pm

A 1954 pilot from Roland Reed Productions-Hal Roach Studios, who had previously collaborated on such TV hits as Stu Erwin's Life with Father and Gale Storm's My Little Margie.

O'Brien was also on board as a producer hoping to segue from the Pete Smith shorts (which were winding down production) into a TV series. It didn't sell but O'Brien kept busy working on The Red Skelton Show up until his death in 1969.
