Robin Williams Gone

So we come home from the Bill "Wallace" Thompson Memorial Service last night to find out that Robin Williams has killed himself.

Not one of the better days, the few intentionally funny people left seem to be leaving the planet.

They're abandoning the planet to the unintentionally funny people.

When you're surrounded by vultures, playing dead is not a good strategy.

There is a clip on UTube of Robin Williams and Jonathan Winters together on Carson from 1991. Winters is introduced and enters, for some reason, dressed as a Union soldier. After greeting the panel he turns to the camera and dead pans, "We lost the fort."

For me, Williams was always hit and miss. Winters always seemed to hit it out of the park.
