Re: APRIL FOOL (1920) reel two with Lloyd Hamilton
That picture of Evans from CAMERA proves he is not the soldier with Stan in MIXED NUTS. Didn't Stan have an ad of himself in a Special Pictures film in his scrapbook? It will great to see a filmography of Special Pictures. Special Pictures had the talent to have been a major shorts player but someho...

Re: APRIL FOOL (1920) reel two with Lloyd Hamilton
After looking at these grabs I don't think Teddy is the soldier in MIXED NUTS anymore but he sure resembles the gob in APRIL FOOL. IIRC Teddy died of shock from a tooth extraction around 1938. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/Tommie61/MIXEDNUTS-01.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v162/Tom...

Teddy is the butler in THE LUCKY DOG and THE EGG. He is also a soldier in MIXED NUTS.
I am convinced Stan plays his own grandmother in MUD AND SAND

SteveR, Good call on Curtis McHenry. If any of you who have not seen the Christie short GOOFY GHOSTS (1928), please endeavor to do so as you will see how Curtis steals the short from Jimmie Adams, Eddie Baker, and Billy Engle. Kathleen Myers rhymes with Katherine McGuire, that's close enough isn't i...

The Gown Shop
A Frank Hayes researcher asked that I post this video. Other than Larry and Babe, there is Katherine McGuire, Dame Frank, Fred DeSilva, Spencer Bell, Otto Lederer, and Merta Sterling rounding out the cast. I corresponded with Fred DeSilva's nephew in the 90's and he told me that not long after this ...

Re: Billy West
Sorry to take so long to answer but I am unaware of a complete West filmography existing. Here are some titles from the Films In Release section of the MOTION PICTURE WORLD : Here are some Reelcraft titles from 1918: WHAT NEXT GOING STRAIGHT THE ARTIST (not the same film as the King Bee title) THE B...

Re: Liberty - (1929)
Blackhawks source material for this short was decomposing when they made their negative. You can see it in a Fin double take shot. The Tarbox print had some unique scenes in it, so this film is not complete (like 2ND 100 YEARS and THAT'S MY WIFE).

Re: Johnny Dooley Comedies
Sorry to post a vague reply, but I am away from my computer.
I know there were two Dooley brothers who were film producers and IIRC one of them was named William (not THE Billy Dooley of Christie fame).
