Re: LISTEN LENA (1927) Al St. John, Clem Beauchamp
Has the fat man been identified? I would say Jean Havez but he was in the grave when this was made. Can you imagine being arrested for wearing pajamas in public? In Charleston West Virginia in the teens one would receive a $5 fine for not wearing a hat outdoors. Now one can see nearly naked people i...

Re: Larry Semon DVDs
Does anyone know what happened to Rohauer's collection of Semon films? I seem to remember he had most of the Vitagraph two-reelers. I would love to have THE AGENT on bluray. @David P.: Is buying a region 1 bluray player from Amazon US an option? Will American bluray players operate with British home...

Re: ATOLL K coming to blu-ray from the BFI
This L&H Bluray is NOT an " All Region " disc as advertised. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07JG786KX/ UPDATE: Friends are telling me this British Universal release does not contain High Def Transfers of these films, merely up conversions of standard def transfers. What an opportunity lo...

I wonder how Fay felt working with the original Chaplin one month and working with a phony Chaplin in another month.

Re: "new" EYE Film - NO PARKING 1921
In the Christie/Bobby Vernon short ALL JAZZED UP (1920) the Angel's Flight line is part of the plot. One gets a good look at the Angel's Flight operations.
I remember in the '70's there was a cheesy line of polyester leisure suits called "Angel's Flight."
