Roscoe Karns at Christie 1918
Just watched KNOW THY WIFE (Christie 1918) with Earl Rodney and Dorothy Devore. He's not credited in the short (or on IMBD), but I'm pretty sure Roscoe Karns plays Earl Rodney's friend Steve.

Heinie and Louie on European Film Gateway 1914
I just watched a Mittenthal comedy from 1915 with Heinie and Louie (Jimmy Aubrey and Walter Kendig). The title is in French, so maybe one of our experts could find out the real title. http://www.europeanfilmgateway.eu/node/33/fridolin/multilingual%3A1 there may be a few more comedies on the site, I ...

Brilliantino the Bullfighter
I just watched this on the NFPF
http://www.filmpreservation.org/preserv ... ghter-1922
Not bad Monte Banks (if you like 22 minutes playing for 30). Question: Is that Eddie Barry (with monocle and top hat) in the cafe (around the 19:38 mark)?
Thanks,
David

Is this really Max?
I just watched UN IDIOT QUI SE CROIT MAX LINDER (An Idiot who thinks he's Max Linder) http://www.europafilmtreasures.eu/PY/517/see-the-film-un_idiot_qui_se_croit_max_linder on the Europa Film Treasures site. Of course, the titles are in German. EFT and IMBD say it's Max playing 'Max' I don't think i...

Re: Little Jerry, Sliding Billy Watson and Ed Lee Wrothe
Sliding Billy Watson has interested me since seeing that Hardy is in a film with him. I take it he is not the director William Watson. Are you saving the info for later?

Re: The True King Of Comedy
Recently watched THE GREAT TOE MYSTERY (1914). Great to see a younger Charley Chase (as Charlie Parrott, I presume) in one of his first leading roles; with Alice Howell, Dixie Chene?, Rube Miller? This brings up an interesting question, perhaps. Was Charley ever billed on-screen other than as Chase?...

Marcel Perez
I just saw YOU'RE NEXT (at Cinecon), a Jester comedy from 1919 with Marcel Perez and Dorothy Earle (spelled Earl in the film). The opening credits went by very fast, could not read them. Very clever comedy. He's been kicked out of his rooming house and is literally living in the street, all his furn...

Re: MOSTLY LOST
I can't wait. I had a great time this year. Great company, great music, a good mix of genres, hard-working staff. Too bad it's only once a year.
