No bout a doubt it. Remember the Kim Carnes song, "She's Got Mantan Moreland Eyes"? Positively Mabel. I'm 200% sure.

Re: WEISS-O-RAMA on sale through Amazon from Sprocket Vault
Friends, this is a great set. I really enjoyed the few Ben Turpin comedies on the collection, two I'd never seen before. The Turpin's alone are worth your investment of this DVD. Plus you also get Snub Pollard comedies, Poodles Hannaford, and other goodies that the Weiss Brothers produced back in th...

Re: Sennett in the Kodascope Library
Well said, Richard. I think the Pathe people blew out their library stock of films to recoup all previous losses. There may be mention of a sale in the pages of the old film journals at Lantern, Hilde. A lot of people saw gold (or silver) in the film and thought it would be a good investment and che...

Re: Three of a Kind
Hi Jim!
The only guy I know, of the four you question, is number three: BILLY FRANEY.
The other three guys may get billing in other films, but I don't know them.
Steve Massa might if he's seen the film. Or just post some frame grabs if you can.

Re: ROMEO & JULIET (1924) - Ben Turpin
Hilde, you certainly know your way to this man's heart! Would be great to sew this one back together as originally released, I'd love to see it all or most of it. Thanks so much for sharing these images and for all your - and your teammates - hard work at EYE. And thanks for keeping the memory and w...

FANTABULOUS DAVE!
I think you found the missing film that completes the surviving incomplete footage!
This one moves pretty fast and maybe I'm getting a little too old to keep up with it, but always great to see "new" Turpin finds.
Thank you, Dave

Re: CALL FOR MR. CAVEMAN (1919) Snub Pollard
Hi Tommie. Too tough a call for me to make. The characters are too covered in greasey greasepaint, hair, and fur.
