Re: Unidentified Glen Lambert...

The chunk originates from two Laff-a-bit clips - The Knee Inspector & Eating at the Beach. I'm basing it on being Glen Lambert purely 'cos that's what it said on the VHS tape box! Not 100% accurate I know (re. Bud Duncan in Stuck Up) but that's the only discrepancy I've ever noticed. (and hey, t...

Re: Bobby Dunn comedy

Hi Pasquale

Yes, I didn't post that one as it was already available.

Jack Hardy's shorts...

I caught the Snub Pollard short CALL FOR MR CAVEMAN a couple of months back on his 'Adam's Rib' release. And this...

Re: Pat and Patachon 7 DVD set

Yep, I know what you mean. I bought mine back in 2005 and it cost a bargain 20 euros then. There are many good gags peppered throughout their films, especially the silent ones. The infuriating thing is not being able to enjoy the whole movie. I'd especially love to see the complete UK films they mad...

Re: Pat and Patachon 7 DVD set

I have the set and it's very good if you're hungry to see their work. However... It's a German TV series (a la Klamotten Kiste) and therefore has narration, sound effects and music. No inter-titles or English translation. Hey, you can always watch it with the sound off and play the 'What the heck's ...
