Excellent! This will help fill a much lamented void. Ordered, and looking forward to it.

Re: Lloyd Hamilton Silent Comedian DVD
This is a wonderful collection, Dave; thanks so much for putting it together and all your hard work doing so. It's great to finally have a copy of HIS MUSICAL SNEEZE with translated intertitles! Having just viewed DYNAMITE, I was amused to see several gags reused from Henry Lehrman's A TWILIGHT BABY...

Online Newspaper Archives
For those of you with experience with any of the online newspaper archives, what are the pluses and minuses of each? I'm thinking of Newspaperarchive.com and Newspapers.com, but perhaps there's another source (aside from the Library of Congress' Chronicling America) that I'm not aware of. I had a su...

Re: New Buster Keaton talkie book from Bear Manor in 2015
What's a four year wait among friends? I for one am eagerly awaiting its publication, and will plunk down my hard-earned cash for a copy as soon as it's announced! Thank you for a work that promises to cast Keaton's later work in a far more positive light that some of its predecessors.

Re: Henry Lehrman Podcast
That's great news about Frank's return. Now I can re-download all those old podcasts and save them this time ... just in case! I look forward to all his future interviews, and revisiting the old ones.

I realize that NitrateVille has a shaky reputation among some of the SilentComedyMafia’s members, but for those of you who are interested in hearing more about Henry Lehrman, Mike Gebert just posted his interview with me discussing my book, MR. SUICIDE: HENRY "PATHE" LEHRMAN AND THE BIRTH ...

Re: MR. SUICIDE: HENRY "PATHE" LEHRMAN AND THE BIRTH OF SILENT COMEDY
You'll need to put it down eventually, Joe, otherwise your arms are going to grow very tired hefting all four pounds of it!
Kidding aside, I'm pleased to hear that you are finding it of interest; a lot of time and energy were spent on this one.

Re: MR. SUICIDE: HENRY "PATHE" LEHRMAN AND THE BIRTH OF SILENT COMEDY
Columnist Mark Voger interviewed me for an article about Henry Lehrman's life and career, and gave my book MR. SUICIDE: HENRY "PATHE" LEHRMAN AND THE BIRTH OF SILENT COMEDY a plug while he was at it. This appeared in several of the STAR LEDGER family of newspapers, and you can read it here...
