Re: HAM AND THE JITNEY BUS (1915) Ham and Bud
So it seems sometimes government is good..... Now when are the other major archives going to get on board. After all, streaming is the wave of the future (so I keep reading about,,,). And I forgot to mention before but the opening chase between Ham & Bud ends with a very clever Hamilton-like twi...

Re: HAM AND THE JITNEY BUS (1915) Ham and Bud
So do they have a larger collection of nitrate than most archives or does it just seem that way because their films are online?

This is an area that I didn't think Sennett explored until the Triangle period with Teddy and Luke.

Re: Greenbriar Comedy Team Discussions

Re: Greenbriar Comedy Team Discussions
I had planned to talk A&C but we all got rather caught up with Stan & Babe at FOX and I found I had lost my mind. The one thing that did jump out at me was when you confessed that you never really cared for Costello. I've never heard you mention that before. And that seemed to open the door ...

Well then I suggest that we go over there together someday. You use an alias, such as William Everson Guy, I'll go as myself and the two of us create a massive argument over the most mundane thing.......like funniest character - Heckle or Jeckle?

Re: PARK YOUR CAR (1920) Snub Pollard
The only time I recognized him was the medium close-up when Snub pokes his head out of the top of the car to try on hats. Then I could see his arched brows and droopy eyes.

Re: PARK YOUR CAR (1920) Snub Pollard
Even though this is a fine, fast paced short, Snub seems to lose his comic identity without the mustache.
