Re: Arbucklemania! Shempalooza!

This is great News! I'm still happy about Shemp's Columbia shorts making it to DVD earlier this year; the Vitaphones I never thought would get there. Arbuckle is gravy, and will doubtless have me revisiting Paul's set. I guess 2012 was the year of Shemp.

Re: John Wayne NOT in CAREFUL PLEASE with Lloyd Hamilton

Wow! They want this badly. You would think that somewhere in Mr. Tuttle's bullet-point manifesto would be the evidence to support his claim. When Richard writes that Scott Eyman agrees with his assessment, it is dismissed as "name-dropping", as if Richard casually mentioned that he just go...

Re: And HELLO???

For our tenth wedding anniversary, I got my wife a diamond ring. She got me Brent's Sennett book. I think I recieved the better gift by far. Thank you Brent; it's absolutely indispensable.

High praise, indeed! Thank you both for bringing films like THE HOME OWNER and A THIEF CATCHER safely back to their respective canons. You guys are the real deal.
