Re: El Brendel sort of sings
Actually that was kinda funny- and it's nice to hear El in higher fidelity than the average soundtrack.

God God! Even in this picture Langdon's clothes appear to fit him oddly. On the other hand Monte Collins looks rather dashing- is this before his nose job?

Louie: Any idea who the two guys with the Stooges are?
Nice picture of Clark & McCullough- you wouldn't suspect McCullough's mind would go so horribly wrong.

Re: MPW review of Larry Semon's THE BAKERY (1921)
I wish I had editing skills- the 1925 Wizard of Oz has enough good bits that with some very imaginative recutting and retitling I could get a funny 1 or 2 reeler out of it- but I'd have to scrap the Oz story and concoct a new one.

In 1926 he'd claimed to have flown over the north pole- it's disputed now - and in 1927 he was in the Transatlantic Air Race where he was beaten by Lindbergh.

Re: Candid Photo Archive
There was a fairly notorious pornographic comic book featuring Wheeler and Woolsey, but I've yet to peruse a copy: http://www.tias.com/8354/PictPage/1922709002.html I got a copy of that but I don't know if this is the forum for it! Aside from the s*x acts is there anything particularly distinctive ...

(FYI -- I usually refer to this still as "So This Is Bob...") He's rather thin, isn't he?? Gary J. I suspect it's a paste-up job, the lighting on the head doesn't quite match the body- and there's more than one anatomical problem. Still it might have been done with his knowledge. There wa...

Re: Under the Radar
ODOR IN THE COURT with Clark & McCullough cracks me up, but I know there are a few guys here who can't stand them.
