Re: HIS DAY OUT (1918) Billy West (foreign version)

Man at the table looks like Harry Naughton who would shortly become producer Louis Burtein’s nephew-in-law by marrying LB’s niece Millie. They all had worked at Vim in Jacksonville.

Re: Larry Semon - The Head Waiter

Updating the book soon.... for me that means a couple of years.

The discs will be mainly complete films but will include fragments as extra material. Hoping to have the complete Galloping Ghosts.

Re: Larry Semon - The Head Waiter

It will be on one of two forthcoming DVD/BluRays from Kino Lorber. Either one featuring Vitagraph comedies, or one of Laurel or Hardy solo films. Both curated by yours truly.

Re: HER FIRST KISS (1919) Fox Sunshine Comedy

Please note that the website being sourced is the National Film Preservation Foundation and NOT the Library of Congress. Transfers on the NFPF site are done by the NFPF and not by LC.

Re: C.K. Comedies question

Without getting into the is she or isn't she argument let me pitch in on what I know about Burns and Stull at C.K. .... which isn't much. After leaving Lubin the two made some films for Royal and Komic, and then apparently some at C.K., before shooting a pilot film for their Pokes and Jabbs series t...
