Classicflix Problems

Are any of the Mafia members current or former customers of Classicflix DVD rentals? I have been a member for about 10 years and would like to continue to be a member. The company announced operational changes in April (shown below). The last disc that I got came on May 7 even though the queue says ...

Film ID - need help!

I'm trying to identify this film- I only have a few seconds or so, which features one scene only. It's nitrate, from 1926, silent, and has no titles. We're not sure if it's a comedy but any help identifying the child or the dog (or anything else) would be helpful. (My name is Rachel, I'm a student a...

Film ID

Hello, My name is Glenn and I am a Film Preservation student at the Selznick School at Eastman House. I am trying to ID a nitrate film with an edge code of 1927. I have attached 3 images with one including a flying bicycle. Some title cards read of a sorority and a bet to keep the bike in the air fo...

Re: Al Joy May Have Competition............

I found an on-line book about Atlantic City aviation. Glenn Curtiss first
flew there in 1910 and came back later to set up a seaplane base.
The Navy flew seaplanes from there starting during WWI until 1922.

Re: Unidentified comedy clip

We just consulted Brent Walker's great book and think it might be Wall Street Blues because we think it
is coming from the collection of clips that Everson created when he worked with Robert Youngson

Unidentified comedy clip

My name is Jennifer Harvey and I am a student at the Selznick School of Film Preservation at the George Eastman House. I have Karen's permission to use her account. I have an unidentified clip from the Everson collection that we think is from Mack Sennett's comedies, possibly directed by Del Lord be...

Re: Unidentified comedy western

Thank you so much for all of your help. I really appreciate it. I was beginning to circle around THREE FACES WEST myself after Steve's comment about STEPPING IN THE GAS, but was struggling to find a synopsis or a contemporary image to confirm it, so I am glad that you confirmed it for me Richard. Th...
