Re: Coming in November..........

Thank you, Richard! I love those shorts. It's a real shame he didn't stay at Roach for several more years.

Re: Ten Years of Silent Comedy Mafia.com

Happy anniversary, and thank you all for all the various projects that have kept the treasure alive, and, of course, the rigorous attention to detail we so frequently need. SCM is unmatched.

A nice surprise! It looks good, and it's cut together well. I hadn't heard of this one.

Thanks for posting this, Richard! I haven't seen enough Smith Family, but it's clear that Mary Ann Jackson was more than ready for Our Gang.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving all! I find myself with some free time today to poke around this board, for which I am truly thankful. In addition to being a priceless resource of information, there's so many forgotten gems posted throughout. Some of you have projects in the works to which I am very much looking...

This is very exciting news; I'm all in. (I never thought I'd see commentary tracks for any Chase talkies.) Thank you for persevering, Richard.

I just got your book, Thomas, and I already can't put it down! I'm hoping not to finish it before my summer vacation starts.

Bud Jamison at the very end! Has there yet been anything published on The Hall Room Boys? I've been using the guide from COLUMBIA SHORT DEPARTMENT. http://columbiashortsdept.weebly.com/th ... -boys.html

Re: THE GOOFY AGE (1924) Glenn Tryon

Was the superimposition of dialogue text over the action authentic, or was it unique to small gauge prints? (Perhaps to make it more affordable by saving a few feet of film.) I'm just curious, because I haven't seen it to this degree before.

Thanks for posting, by the way.
